This is the assignment for Week 1.  Each week you will find your weekly assignments listed below. Be sure to complete each numbered item listed below and submit the assignments before the start of the next class. You will have assignments due every week so let's get started.

Recommended Readings and Videos

1. Locate the Syllabus for the course located on the bottom left hand side of the course homepage. 
2. Complete these two video lessons
   • Intro to Visual Web Developer with VB Lesson 01
   • Intro to Visual Web Developer with VB Lesson 02

Complete the Following Assignments

1. Practice but do not submit the following exercise.  Click the following link and complete the Visual Web Developer Creating a Website exercise.
2. Watch the VWD VB Study Guide Solution for Lesson 02  and complete the exercise. After completing the exercise, compress (zip) the Web site folder.
3. Watch the two introductory exercises listed above and follow the second tutorial and complete Lesson 2.  If you have problems and want to see the completed exercise, click here to download the exercise.
   Compress the completed exercise folder.
4. After completing the exercise,  you should compress the Web site with descriptive names. E.g. b_ray_week01_Lesson02.zip.
5. When you have finished your assignment, log in to the Butler Web Site (Pipeline) and click on My Courses Tab. You will find your class in the list of courses you are taking this semester. Click on IN2024 Server Side Programming and from the course homepage, click on "Files" from the left side of the page. You will see a root folder. Click on the root folder and below it you will see a Week 1 folder. Click on the Week 1 folder. Find the link to browse and upload your files. Upload your zipped assignment.
