College OWL: the Online Writing Lab |

Online Writing Lab is now available!
The Butler Online Writing Lab (OWL) is a free
service available to students currently enrolled in courses on
any Butler campus or online.
Details:
You can submit your writing for tutoring
assistance through a form available at OWL or by emailing us at:
writewell@butlercc.edu
The Online Writing Lab can help you with:
 | Any writing assignment for any course |
| Any stage in the writing process (topic
generation, organizing, drafting, revising, etc.) |
| Research for writing projects |
| Large-scale issues (thesis, organization,
argument) |
| Mechanical issues (grammar, format,
documentation) |
The Online Writing Lab cannot:
| Edit your paper for you. We can, however,
assist you in locating those grammar errors that are
repeated in the paper and demonstrating how to fix those
errors. |
| Speculate as to the grade you might
receive on the paper. While Lab tutors are instructors here
at Butler, your instructor has the final say regarding your
grade. |
| Write your paper for you.
