Exercises/Homework: Due before the start of the next class

1. Prepare your Desktop: Using an Apple, follow the steps listed on pages 12 and 13 in your textbook page OR follow this link if you are using Windows.
2. Complete the Web-Page listed on page 30 of your textbook with following changes:
   1. Change the heading to: Your Name's Coffee House (insert your name)
   2. Change the names and prices of at least two of the drinks
   3. Save the file with a descriptive name. For example firstInitial_lastName_chapter01 (example: r_ray_chapter01)
3. Click here for Quiz Instructions.
4. Complete the Week 1 Course Information Quiz
5. When you have finished your assignment, log in to the Butler Web Site (Pipeline) and click on My Courses Tab. You will find your class in the list of courses you are taking this semester. Click on IN112 Hypertext Markup Language and from the course homepage, click on "Files" from the left side of the page. You will see a root folder. Click on the folder and under it you will see a Week 1 folder. Click on the Week 1 folder. You will see a link to browse and upload your files. Upload your homework.
6. If you can not access pipeline, email your homework to rray@butlercc.edu.

Quick Notes:

This first week is a busy one and the best time to become acquainted with class, so try everything! You will not be penalized for making mistakes this first week. Next week the workload increases. Please don't hesitate to ask questions or for help.
